FEATURES AND TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS OF OUR EQUIPMENT

«Belmar» Ltd in its work constantly focuses on deepening of theoretical knowledge and practical skills in bending of different shapes and composition products.

This allowed us to develop a methodology and algorithms of various bending processes, to define technical requirements for fittings and mountings, to accumulate huge base of rollers, additional accessories and devices.

In addition, our specialists developed and introduced devices that provide a programmable multi-speed mode of feed rollers, which significantly improve the quality of complex bending.

Listed arsenal gives us a successful solution of problems identified in the «Preliminary observations on problem of profile systems bending.«

The most frequently encountered in practice are the following ones:

  • bending of aluminum and steel profiles of simple cross-section (circle, square, rectangle, band, channel, etc.);
  • bending of window-doors and facade systems;
  • bending of railing and stair systems;
  • bending of furniture designs.

We manufacture not only the arc and rings, but also bend coils and spirals.

Our inventory and monitoring system allows you to do it quickly, easily and with good repeatability. The maximum diameter of symmetrical tubular workpieces is up to 80 mm inclusive.

Bending of asymmetrical corners to arc or ring of specified radius is often accompanied the effect of screwing in the spiral. The resultant part, although it has the geometry of arc or ring, does not adjacent to plane along the entire length.

Because of that we developed equipment which corrects profile’s bend during the bending process.
This effect is eliminated and provides a good flatness of the finished product. The maximum dimension of corner is 70×70 mm.

Production of thin-walled aluminum windows, doors and facade systems involved in many domestic and foreign companies.

There are a number of distinctive settings, features, profiles of various firms that significantly affect the terms of bending.

These include:

  • mechanical properties of profile material;
  • geometric shape of cross section profile;
  • dimensions of geometric elements of cross section;
  • protective and decorative coatings;
  • the design of profile cross section (solid or, in slang «cool profile» or a composite polyamide layer, the slang «warm profile»);
  • profile’s wall thickness;
  • profile assignment (frame, sash, or fillet).

Changing of any parameter of prototype makes it necessary to make changes in the tooling of the bending machine and bending algorithm.

We successfully bend various series of profile system «Reynaers», «Kurtuglu», «Alyumash», «Alutech», «Saray», «Fenis», «Rescara», «Balcan-profilco» and others.

Maximum size bendable section is 70 mm.

Physical and mechanical properties of thin-walled profile material impose certain restrictions on the minimum bending radius. In practice, minimum permissible bending radius is determined by a simple formula: half-sectional dimensions have to multiply by 20 … 25 units.

The photo shows construction with a variable radius of curvature, characteristic of an ellipse geometric figure.

Half-sectional dimension in this construction is 25mm. Optimistic minimum bending radius for the practical calculation is 500 mm (pessimistic — 625 mm).

However, the apex of ellipse in the image is bended in radius of 300 mm.

This result was achieved thanks to found and applied special algorithm of bending.

In practice, bending of hard-core products in three roller bending machine is carried out in two ways: either by filling the voids with flexible inserts, or by making short insert, which acts like iron when ironing trousers. We use both methods.

In conclusion, it should be noted that despite of our achievements, the problem to develop a single universal algorithm of bending remains open.
